Pockets...
So a little word of advice...
I usually check pockets before I throw clothes in the washer..That's how I make my millions off of Bruce and his change.. =) Mia's been known to keep stickers, gum, tissues, and even the occasional pencil..Bruce just mainly has change and receipts...which have either matted or shredded, guess it depends on the quality of the paper...lol..Well doing laundry today I have come to realize that I guess I need to check the pockets of sweatshirts too....Because the no matter how small the crayon is, it does a number on almost every piece of laundry in the load....
And I think my bathing suit bottom got the brunt of it...this is nothing compared to some of the clothes...Washers beware!!

God does have a sense of humor...
You know what I hate? When your kids forget something they need at school and your partially in the wrong for not helping to make sure they got everything before they leave...
This morning, Bruce took Mia to school because we have to every morning b/c we live 3/4 of a mile away...too far for her to walk alone, and too short for a bus to get her..that's a whole other story but anyways, I even packed her lunch today and with them walking out the door she had to go back b/c she almost forgot her lunch. I said Oh good thing b/c you would have been buying and I wouldn't have brought it to school. (ha ha ha under my breath) Bruce had to go help a friend all day so he went on his way. Well 10 minutes later I get a call and on the i.d. is Mia's school...I was like what?!? Well I answered and it was Mia and she forgot her planner that she needs everyday. It's a new 3rd grade thing I guess..I was like CRAP, can't you use something else? No Mom...Will you get in trouble if you don't have it? Yes, Mom...Damn it..
So there's me ratty hair, no bra, and pajama pants, and Oliver in his pj's...So I let Oliver finish eating his breakfast, put a bra on, throw a hat on myself, put a coat on Oliver and grab the planner muttering obscenities under my breath and walk out the door. If I could have just ran it there no problem, but I have my little one in toe that makes it harder...Put him in the car, strap him in...drive to the school...unbuckle him take him in with me, have the planner almost fall, walk into the school...Get looked at like I'm some psycho in pajama pants, hope Mia doesn't see me, and hand in the planner...Take Oliver back out, strap him back in, and drive home...Unbuckle him, and go into the house...WHEW...I guess God does have a sense of humor.... =)

Oliver taking a few steps!!
This was Oliver taking a few steps and yelling at Dad while he was out back mowing...lol...I love him...
Here goes...
So here is to my first blog posting on e blogger...I have blogged before on Myspace, I am a die hard fan and even have gotten my mother and sister on there with me. It is a great way to keep in touch with friends, old and new and family. I can snap a picture (or 30) and post them to share whenever I like. It's great...
So I don't really have much to share today, but figured I need to start somewhere, right?
So what happened today....Mia went to school, Oliver was a riot as usual. There's this thing that his Uncle Dave does that goes, "O is for Oliver, yeah, yeah, yeah.." and with the yeah, yeah, yeah part you shake your arm in the air. Well today he actually said yeah, yeah, yeah..Bruce heard him too, so I know I wasn't just hearing things..He amazes me so much, he is so smart, just like his big sister!! But try to get him to say "mama" on cue and forget it!! There's been times when I go, say mama!! He looks at me and goes, "DADA". Then smiles, I think he does this on purpose!!
Not much else happened today, we did a little grocery shopping. Walmart of course, I can't wait till the new Giant Eagle is built here. AKA "The Bird" I hate Walmart and buying Chinese, but when you're struggling along just like the rest of Americans about now, you gotta go where the price is low....
Here are some pictures of my family including Walter (our mini wiener dog)....
